Junkyard works with Payex for making credit card payments in our online store. All transferred information is encrypted (made unreadable) which makes
the information protected from outside view. You can shop for a maximum of 2000
EURO at a time.

Order
confirmation
Having
completed your purchase you will receive an automatic confirmation to the e-mail address stated in
your user profile. The order confirmation is preliminary and if a product is
not in stock the customer will be notified before delivery.
Good to
know
• If using Hotmail or some other e-mail server, make sure that your spam
filter is set to "low", otherwise the e-mails from junkyard might not
reach you.
• You can log in to the member page to check that your order has been
processed and from there you can also request that a new order notice is sent
to you.
• It is your responsibility as a customer to contact junkard.com if you
do not receive a notice via mail, e-mail or sms once an order has been sent
from us.
• If an ordered product is missing in stock we will contact you, asking
if you want to have it replaced with another product. If your order only
consists of one product, and this product is missing, your order will be
maculated and you will be notified via e-mail.

Price
Junkyard.com reserves the right to alter product prices and incorrectly
stated prices.
Product
Junkyard.com reserves the right for type errors on this website. Even
though we do all in our power to depict our products truthfully, junkyard.com cannot make guarantees for the accuracy of product photographs.
Product selection
Junkyard.com reserves the right for changes in selection and the right to
remove products from our selection before a purchase has been carried through.
Cancellation and returns
From the day you have collected your order you have 30 days to return
it. The same goes for an item which has been a part of an order.
To make use of your right to return an item you must think about the
following:
• The goods must be unused and undamaged. If the original packing is
resealable you have the right to open it to check the product.
• If the product arrives in an original packing this must be returned
together with the product. The original packing must not be taped upon or
likewise.
• The rights of return and cancellation does not apply for audio and
visual media (VHS/DVD/CD) on which the seal
has been broken, a skateboard on which griptape has been mounted, nor on
underwear, bikinis or alike. The rights of return and cancellation do not
apply for special orders outside of our regular selection.
• The return must be made within 30 days from your collection of the product.
If you do not fulfill these conditions but return your product anyway we
will send it back to you and charge you for shipping and handling.
This is how you make a return
Return your cancelled goods together with a copy of your receipt/invoice
to the return address found below. Repayment will happen automatically once we
have received and handled your returned product and you won't need to state your banking information
again.

Exchanging a purchased product
This is how you do it:
Go to our web shop to check that your replacement item is in stock.
Then contact us at retur@junkyard.com so that we can put the new product
aside for you. If you do not do this, you risk that the article is sold out
before we have registered your exchange.
Once having received and approved your returned goods we will send you
the replacing product. If the replacing product is more expensive than the
returned one you can either pay the difference as cash on delivery (with an additional fee). If the replacing
product is cheaper we will repay the difference or add it to your junkyard member
account. A cash receipt or a copy of it must always be sent together with the
returned goods.

Complaints and manufacturer warranties
When making a complaint, contact info@junkyard.com as soon as the damage
is noticed. The first thing we do once
we have been contacted is to consider if the product is repairable or not. If
the article is beyond repair it will be replaced with a new one. If it is not
possible to replace or repair the product you will get your money back.
Attaching photos of the damage when making the complaint will speed up the
process.
Having received and approved your complaint you will be noticed and we
will send you a replacing product and repay you for the shipping within 30
days.
When making a repayment for the product you will receive the money
within a week from us having handled your case.
When a repayment is to be made, reductions to the
total value can be made according to the age of the product or the amount of
usage it has been exposed to.
- Hard goods 20% per year
- Clothing and accessories 33% per year
Handling of complaints is made according to the EU

Please note that when paying by invoice, and your complaint/return case takes
a long time to handle, you must still pay your invoice before its due date. We
will refund you once we have handled your complaint/return.

Warranties
Generally a customer has a one year warranty on all products. If the
manufacturer has stated a different warranty period that one applies.
Snowboards
When buying a snowboard you have a one year warranty starting from the
day of delivery. All complaints are judged by the manufacturer and by approval
the board is replaced or the customer refunded. Contact us at info@junkyard.com as soon as the damage is noticed.
Snowboards broken in half are not valid complaints. Always contact us at
info@junkyard.com before sending a product back to us.
When refunded you will receive the money within a week from us having
handled your case. If you have not stated your banking information or stated it
incorrectly you will be repaid with a cash voucher.
Please note that your post office will charge you a fee when collecting the
money this way.
Please remember
That a cash receipt, or a copy of it, always must accompany your
returned goods. Junkyard does not accept returns being made by bus or other
means of transport demanding that shipments are to be collected. The customer
always pays for the return shipping if nothing else has been agreed.
